Durrow Scarecrow Festival 2022.

Where: On the Abbeyleix Road out of Durrow on the left hand side, within walking distance from the village centre. (Formerly The Ranch)

Admission Fees:  Adults €2 – Children €1 (pay at door or tickets available online, some optional charges will apply inside)

Children can get lost in the Scarecrow Maze whilst parents enjoy a sit down with an ice-cream, tea or coffee, younger children will enjoy the Mud Kitchen and sand play area.  All ages will enjoy the exhibition of old world farm machinery, memorabilia, videos and music from Durrow Pipe Band.  

Lego fans will enjoy browsing the miniature Lego models and frames from Monday to Friday and there will be a bath bomb workshop on the Friday. (Both of these also available on the market green at the week-ends also, so you won’t miss out!)

The Fun’ky Zone will also have Europe’s largest bouncy castle – The Miami Slide.  The Miami Slide is available for all nine days of this year’s Scarecrow festival from 11am until 6.00pm!!

Scats Bouncing Castles proudly present you with the Miami slide, which is the biggest slide in Europe. This Slide really has the WOW factor & is set to be a huge hit at this year’s Scarecrow Festival.

Raven Haven Avaries

Expect to find some of the biggest and best scarecrows around here with plenty room to view and take them in, plus on the two Sundays over the festival we will be joined by Raven Haven Aviaries and their exhibition of Native Birds and Birds of Prey.
