Always great music in The Scarecrow Village!

Scarecrows like nothing better after a hard days crow-scaring than the kick back and listen to some great music in the Scarecrow Village. Chocolate, always a winner at the Durrow Scarecrow Festival

Cocoa Couture can trace their love of chocolate making right back to 1901 when Catherine O’Callaghan’s great grand uncle Richard Flynn worked as a confectioner in 1901 whilst living in the tenement buildings of Henrietta Street in Dublin. Now, the fourth generation of confectioners continue on with the family tradition from 31 Patrick Street in Mountmellick in the beautiful County of Laois.

Based in an old building, which once belonged to the Thacker family, one of the first Quaker families to settle in Mountmellick in the 1700s, Cocoa couture offer artisan gourmet chocolates handcrafted from only the finest ingredients from around the world and Ireland, all produced instore. All the chocolate is handmade without any machinery, and absolutely no artificial additives, flavours or preservatives. They also serve tea, house blend coffee, crepes, pancakes and Belgian waffles.

Wow, its the first on our list, check them out at the festival and in the meantime see their Facebook Page
